Below is this week’s “Safety App of the Week“.  Every Monday we publish an article that reviews and rates a new workplace safety app.  Our testing is done on Apple iPads and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3s.  We rate each app from to ♥♥♥♥♥ (♥♥♥♥♥ is the best).  Prior app of the week articles are archived here.

-Generate report in PDF and Email to potential stakeholders

  • survey questions adequately cover the OHSAS 18001 requirements
  • the completed audit report pdf files that you email look very professional
  • completed audits are archived
  • audits can be sorted and organized a number of different ways
  • works off-line

 

Thumbs Down

  • cost is $24.99 (Android version is $50.00)
  • no instructions – you will waste time trying to learn how to use this app
  • can’t either modify questions or add your own questions
  • only the Android version allows you to delete questions
  • a detailed explanation of each survey question is critically needed
  • only someone already very familiar with OHSAS 18001 will be able to use this app
